I love the feeling of my heart pumping, my muscles working, my body sweating, my mind focusing and everything around "disappearing." We all have our preferences for what activities we like, but my experience is that pretty much no matter which sport or physical activity we choose, the feelings we thrive on are similar. I can get the same rush from running fast through the forrest as from surfing a big wave. I feel great riding my bike through the wind and windsurfing with the wind in my hair. Dancing (any type of dance) makes me feel free, present, and alive, just like free diving does. My point is that It doesn't really matter what we choose to do to move our body, but that we find something we like and do it.
